I met up with Amarillo’s camera club to enjoy a weekend retreat in Albuquerque. I saw a welcome change of scenery and enjoyed the Bonito Valley at Lincoln before turning north at Socorro to reach the city. I met with friends and stayed at a bread and breakfast. My room provided solitude, and on Saturday, we saw a mountain sunrise, explored downtown, and concluded at a scenic overlook.
On Thursday, I gave a presentation on 8x10 photography and shared my Navasota adventures at Panhandle Shutterbugs. It was a chance to answer questions and show the equipment. I had a great time.
