I am thrilled to see the Queen on display at the Museum of the Southwest for the Midland Arts Association Spring Show. The photograph depicts downtown Bryan, TX and measures 16x20 inches. I used fiber-based paper and a darkroom to produce the piece. The opening reception will be Thursday, April 18, 6-8 PM.
Odessa Arts received a grant to promote reading citywide. The Ellen Noël Art Museum showcased illustrations by Heidi Pitre, an Austin-based artist applying pen and ink to book cards. I enjoyed the show.
I have a piece on display in the Permian Basin Juried Art Exhibition going on now at the Ellen Noël Art Museum in Odessa.
Thanks I enjoyed my stay at Navasota Artists and Residence in 2017. Thanks to the city of Navasota and the Arts Council of Brazos Valley for giving artists a place to grow and develop. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the house. Special thanks to Doerte Weber for showing me the ropes and Jayde Archbold for pushing me in new directions.

As Hurricane Harvey approached the Texas Coast, and a group of evacuees stopped by the gallery. We discussed photography.
That’s me at the open house, I’m on the right.
